Contemporary Kitchen

This young energetic couple came to us while doing a major renovation on a beautiful house in Skerries overlooking the water. They wanted a seamless contemporary kitchen to complement all the hard work that was going into their new home.

We sat down with them and gathered their requirements for their dream kitchen. Our next steps were to generate 3D designs of their kitchen and we came up with a layout that suited both them and the house.

This kitchen was set off with handless-grained doors, showing the true beauty of the wood grain. The main kitchen was painted in an off-black and topped with a Dekton worktop, black glass splash back and a blank composite sink with a matching tap.

On the kitchen island, we went with white doors and again Dekton worktops. To keep the simplicity of the kitchen, we went with a downdraft hob on the island, so no overhead extractors were needed. To finally finish off this area, we continued up two steps into the dining area, which was a full glass wall overlooking the water, and complimented the kitchen with a matching unit. Imagine a bright sunny morning eating your breakfast at this table overlooking the water in this lovely warm home!
